Today, a great movie about the creation and release of mozilla’s source code in 1998 became public domain. It’s a documentary about the people actually involved in making Mozilla open source, about their motivation, their goals and the life in the Silicon Valley as it was 10 years ago. Moreover it’s generally about being a programmer in a company which surprisingly hasn’t changed much, has it. Computers, clothes, cars everything has changed but the way of programming hasn’t. People still write source code and create bugs while trying to meet deadlines set by the management. At least open source is not a mystery anymore and Internet Explorer has got company.

If you’re a programmer or interested in the birth of Firefox aka. Mozilla you have to see it. Enjoy!
